isPain is a play on words - Spain and pain, spoken the way it sounds in English - built around the feeling that lives just underneath Spanish culture: not sadness, but intensity. The kind that shows up in a flamenco ruffle, a hand-painted chair, a carnation pinned into place.
The project modernizes Spanish symbols without falling into tourist cliché, turning them into a visual identity with its own character: warm penumbra, service rituals, and a menu designed to accompany the conversation, not just the palate.
